Folder icon

Here I am again, sorry to bother you, but I can't seem to find the right size for the folder images. I have followed your suggestion and created an icon 300 x 225 pixels (see larger image), but as you can see in the little image, there is a part that is "reflected" above and below it. Is there anything I can do?

300 x 260 seems to work better for me:

By the way, when I assign a new icon I can see it immediately, but when I change an existing one I can only see the old one, even after clearing cookies, cache, etc. Does it take some time for the system to replace the icon?
