TOPWORKSHEETS - Responsible for the processing of registered students' data

Once the student has signed up and enrolled into a class, TOPWORKSHEETS will access student data, including their image/voice, as the data processor, to ensure a proper delivery of the service, being the teacher the person responsible for processing the student data, including their image/voice.

The invitation to create the account and enroll into the class will be sent by the teacher directly to the student. In order to send invitations to students under 14 years of age, the teacher must have the express prior authorization of the parents or legal guardians. It will be the sole responsibility of the teacher to prove that he/she has such authorization prior to sending invitations.

How long will we keep your data

Personal data will be kept only as long as it is necessary for providing our service, unless the concerned party requests such data to be deleted, and for the duration as applicable by law.

What is the legitimate purpose of processing your data

The consent of the concerned party, the execution of a contract or legal interest shall constitute the legal basis for processing the data provided.

The legal basis for the registration of students on the platform shall be the consent of the interested party or his or her parent or legal guardian or authorized by them, if he or she is under 14 years of age.

The use of data for dispatching informative mails or newsletters to the users of our platform and commercial contacts registered in our website to ask for information is based on the legitimate interest as set forth by the European Regulation for Data Protection and by the Law of Services for Information Society and Electronic Commerce. Should you choose not to receive the aforementioned communications, we shall provide the option to opt out.

Transfer of data to third countries

Whenever we need to obtain information from you, we shall always request you provide it voluntarily giving your express consent through the appropriate means.

The processing of any data obtained via data compilation forms on our website or via any other means will be incorporated into the Processing Activities File for which TOPWORKSHEETS is responsible.

TOPWORKSHEETS handles data confidentially and implements the appropriate technical and administrative measures for the adequate management of data as set forth by EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 and applicable legislation regarding Data Protection.

Notwithstanding this, we may not guarantee the total invulnerability of our systems and therefore decline any responsibility for any damages resulting from alterations caused by third parties to our computer systems, electronic documents or user files.

Should you leave our website through web links which are not part of our company, TOPWORKSHEETS shall not be held responsible for the privacy policies operating on such websites or for the cookies such websites may store on the user’s computer.

Processing of data obtained from Google Drive

TopWorksheets offers the possibility to upload files from Google Drive, including images, audio and video files. To complete this process, the user must be the owner of a Google account and authorize access to the data contained in the account. The authorization process will be done with the OAuth 2.0 protocol.

When uploading files from Google Drive, TopWorksheets will not access any personal data (such as name, email address, etc.) nor will it have access to the list of files or directories stored in Google Drive. The only data TopWorksheets will have access to will be the content of the file voluntarily selected by the user.

The content of the file uploaded from Google Drive will be treated as if the user had uploaded it from their computer. It will appear as content of the user in the worksheet, and the user will decide the type of access they want to offer to the worksheet. At any time, the user may remove the file, resulting in its permanent deletion from TopWorksheets systems.

Data obtained from Google Drive will not be used for any purpose other than uploading content into the worksheet. Specifically, this data will not be transferred to third parties, nor will it be used to train any artificial intelligence models.
